Meet the Administration Team

Dear Deane Elementary Community,

My name is Jenny Honeycutt, and I am thrilled to serve as your new Principal!

This year marks my 23rd year in education and my 11th year as a school administrator. Most recently, I served as a principal in Denver Public Schools, but returning to Jefferson County is a true homecoming for me—I am a proud Jeffco graduate (Columbine High School, Class of 1996) and am so excited to be back serving the community that shaped me.

Throughout my career, my passion has always been creating inclusive, engaging, and academically challenging environments where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered to succeed.

I am eager to get to know all of our students and families. Please feel free to reach out or say hello when you see me around campus—my door is always open!
