I’m the Family Engagement Liaison (FEL) at Deane Elementary. My role here is to purposely connect families, educators, and community partners to promote children’s learning and development working together as allies.
Our school goals for this year are:
- We will increase the percentage of students scoring at benchmark or above in K-3 from 29% (42/147 total students) (BOY) to 50% (74/144 total students) on the EOY DIBELS 8/Lectura benchmark assessment.
- 80% of students will score proficient on the formative assessments or after the reteach in math in grades K-6
- Achieve an average of 90% or higher positive response (strongly agree and agree combined) rate on the monthly student belonging survey in grades 2nd - 6th.
- All K-6 classroom teachers will implement the use of Book Bags to support reading at home.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, and/or comments.
